I've been passionate about writing since I was younger, and throughout my twenties I have used journaling as a self-help tool to help cope with my anxiety. I have been going through a ton of changes over the past few years, and I have a friend that referred to these years as our "tumultuous twenties." Annie and I have talked a lot about life, the highs and lows, and these are the words her mom used to describe our formative years. Hence, the blog title. This phrase resonated a lot with me, and I figured it would resonate with others as well.
I am 26 years old, and I am currently going through a career transition. I decided to leave the field of education this past year, and I have been struggling to find my new purpose. In all honesty, I have been feeling lost. I decided to write a book about the education system, but I have been discouraged the past few weeks. I figured starting a blog would be the perfect way for me to pick up writing again and find it fun rather than a chore.
This blog is going to serve as a place where I talk about what I am currently going through and what I have learned along the way. I hope it helps me feel a sense of excitement and purpose, and I can help others in their twenties not feel so alone.
